Our family-run Lodge at the Galloway Activity centre is ideally located on the shores of Loch Ken providing an excellent base for Cycling, Walking, Bird Watching, Fishing, Viewing Dark Skies and a wealth of outdoor activities. We provide a safe environment for fun sessions in sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, canoeing as well as dry activities such as archery, climbing, mountain biking and outdoor laser-quest.
Kirk Yetholm Friends of Nature House is located at the start (or end) of the Pennine Way. It is also an ideal stop for those doing the St. Cuthbert’s Way and for cyclists on the Borderloop Cycle Route or Sustrans Route 84. The Hostel is a great base for local day hikes, particularly suited to individuals, families and small groups.
Marthrown of Mabie is a friendly bunkhouse, sleeping 26 guests within 4 rooms, in a wonderful natural setting in Mabie Forest. There are excellent facilities with meals available to order and a sauna & hot tub in the grounds. The bunkhouse is also available for exclusive use. Our Celtic Roundhouse and Yurt are available to hire, Advancee booking in all types of accommodation is essential.
