Excellent location

Reviewed on January 2, 2017

Laurie is an excellent host, who made us feel very welcome indeed. The hostel has a seemingly never-ending supply of piping hot water, and surprisingly comfortable bunks. The well-equipped kitchen coped well with 14 of us (two cookers, two fridges, sharp knives) and although the main area can be a little cramped with a full house, it's more than compensated for by the large drying room.

Great hostel - endless hot water

Reviewed on January 2, 2017

We had a great stay here as a big group. Kitchen is well equipped with 2 cookers and sinks and lots of big pans. The drying room works very well. The hot water supply is endless so fantastic for everyone getting a warm shower. The hostel is nice and warm. There are huge drawers under each bed so very useful for storing kit. The village has a flaming torch parade with fireworks for new years eve and there is lots of good walking in the area.
