You can use our microwave to heat up food (by booking a timed slot) and you can also cook outside if you have a camping stove. We can provide crockery and cutlery.

We offer a laundry service (charge applies) and will do our best to help with any wet gear.

Really nice place to spend a few nights.

Really nice private hostel in a great location. Greg and Helen are enthusiastic and knowledgeable, and always on hand to offer advice re local attractions etc. The hostel is spotlessly clean and well-maintained, a large kitchen with good facilities, and a drying room. The bedrooms are a good size, and showers etc are clean and in good order. The guest lounge is comfortable and welcoming with board games, books and a good TV (limited channels, but who wants Sky Movies in a hostel??). Overall, it's hard to fault Saddle Mountain Hostel, especially when you've had one of Greg's excellent coffees - a real bonus! Thanks for a lovely couple of nights - we'll def. be back!
