Loved Morag's Lodge!

Had a great 2 night stay while on the 3 day Haggis Adventure! The hostel was so cosy and warm, felt instantly at home there. Rooms were clean, ensuite in rooms which was great! The dinner meals were amazing and healthy (and filling!) The atmosphere was fun and lively. Wifi was great and had a strong signal in rooms. Take a towel and padlock with you!! Only thing though was that the music in the bar went until 1am on both the Friday and Saturday night which made it difficult for those who wanted to sleep. Had a great time and would love to visit Loch Ness again!

Great night's stay

Excellent 4-bed en-suite dorm, and excellent breakfast (with porridge!). Only black mark is the shocking, disgraceful, bicycle "storage" facility - an exposed open shed with bicycle anchor points overgrown with weeds, providing no shelter and negligible security. It would appear that you don't have many cyclists visiting or I feel that the complaints might have had some effect.

Best Hostel Experience!!

Morag's Lodge was the best hostel I stayed at during my week long visit to Scotland. The rooms were large and clean, and had their own bathroom and shower. There were even extra bathrooms in the hall, which made it easier for large groups to get ready in the morning. The evening activities were a lot of fun and encouraged all those staying there to get to know one another. My favourite part was definitely the food. They offered breakfast and dinner for an affordable price and the food was not only delicious but the portions were very large. I would definitely recommend Morag's Lodge to anyone looking for a hostel.
