Wow, what a location to have a hostel. A party of six cyclists were lucky to be squeezed in between bookings on a beautiful Friday night in early May.The views from the hostel have to be experienced to give it full justification. In a peaceful, quiet location close to the highest point on Iona and a beautiful white sandy beach seemed like heaven all of which were within easy walking distance from the hostel. The facilities inside are adequate with lovely clean dormitories with plenty of hot water in the showers with free towels. The lounge area is comfortable and the kitchen contained sufficient facilities for self catering. The Warden could not have been more friendly and accommodating. This hostel is well worth a visit.
