Coll Bunkhouse is a purpose-built hostel, situated in the centre of Arinagour, on the Isle of Coll, part of the inner Hebrides is situated a few miles west of Mull. It's a quiet and relaxing paradise island, great for those seeking peace and quiet and who enjoy nature. There are 30 stunning beaches to explore and vast range of wildlife, flora and fauna.

Nearest Public Transport: BY FERRY - daily ferries during the summer months, operated by Calmac, and the journey takes just over 2 hours 30 minutes from Oban. BY AIR - regular flights with Hebridean Air from Oban to Coll airport and the trip lasts around 30 minutes. It's also possible to fly Glasgow to Tiree and get the Ring n Ride bus to catch the ferry from Tiree to Coll TRAINS & BUSES TO OBAN - Trains from Edinburgh and Glasgow are operated by Scotrail, whilst Citylink provide a bus service throughout Scotland. CAR - You can also drive to Oban and leave your car in one of the car parks if you want to save costs on the ferry crossing.

Sleeping up to 13 people, the bunkhouse has two larger rooms accommodate 5 persons (single over double bunk & single over single bunk) and the smaller room will accommodate 3 persons (single over double bunk).  Each room has been kitted out to enable you to be self-contained with equipment for basic food preparation, including microwave and mini fridge.

All rooms have a wash basin, private lockers with ample storage space, and individual reading lights by each bed. Bed linen is provided upon arrival and towels can be hired from reception or requested when booking online. Free wireless internet is available throughout the building.

The bunkhouse has a fully-equipped kitchen complete with everything you will need to allow you to be self-catering during your stay. There is plenty of dining space to allow groups to eat together after a day exploring the island. The lounge makes a great space to socialise, stocked with books, games, plasma-screen TV (for dvds/external devices only) and comfy couches so you can sit back and relax.

As you would expect for a modern hostel, hot showers are readily available, offering hot water all day long.

The bunkhouse comes complete with laundry facilities and drying room, perfect for drying off those wetsuits and walking gear when the weather’s not so great (sometimes it rains!) or after a day at the beach.

The building has been designed to allow disabled access, including level access throughout, accessible car parking, accessible WC and shower facilities with grab rails and seat. We have one accessible bedroom and the kitchen, corridors and laundry room all incorporate space for a turning circle for wheelchair users.

During 2021, we are operating as room only to meet Covid regulations. Each room has dedicated hygiene facilities. Our smaller room starts from £60/night, and our larger rooms from £104/night.
