This spacious barn conversion's open plan design provides simple accommodation for up to six people. There are four comfortable beds, a dining/sitting areawith  wood burning stove, a separate kitchen with basic cooking facilities and WC/washroom with hot showers.  There are also washing and drying facilites that can be provided as well as breakfast and dinner (pre-book).

Bike ethusiasts are provided with safe storage and bike washing facilities. 

This working farm has plenty to see and do.  The Farm Walk offers fantastic views and sunsets, peace and quiet.  This peaceful location is only 4 miles from the popular harbour town of Kirkcudbright, which has a good range of pubs, cafés and restaurants.  Kirkcudbright is well known as an artists haven with art galleries, museums and craft shops perfect for browsing. 

Cycling & Mountain Biking

This hostel is located in the middle of some great mountain bike territory, with routes and trails to suit all abilities. Families and novices can enjoy the many Green Trails and the more experienced will be 'sorely' tested on some of the superb single track and technical areas.

Scotland's Biking Heaven The 7stanes course at Dalbeattie Forest is only a mile away, with another 4 of the 7 Stanes in close proximity, Glentrool, Mabie, Kirroughtree and Ae.

Laggan Outdoor Centre

Laggan Outdoor Activity Centre offer adventure and recreational experiences for all the family, boasting lots of activities including zip wire, archery, segway, grass sledging and lots more

Fishing

There is plenty of fishing in this area. Choose from stocked lochs, burns, rivers and sea angling. 

Water Sports

Try out water skiing, windsurfing, and canoeing on Loch Ken. 

Walking

Experience the beauty and solitude of our Galloway Hills including the Southern Upland Way. Climb Screel and enjoy the views over the Solway to the Lake District beyond or how about Merrick - Galloway's highest with majestic Glentrool nestling below. Coastal paths aplenty or walk along some of the beautiful beaches on the Solway.

Golfing

With over 30 Golf Courses in Dumfries & Galloway the golfer is certainly spoilt for choice. From Championship Links at Southerness or Powfoot to the well manicured greens at the Dumfries and County plus a variety of of testing 9 hole courses for the higher handicapper or beginner.

If the beaches and biking aren't enough, there's The Cocoa Bean Factory with softplay, ice cream palours, adventure playgrounds and country parks.
