The bunkhouse consists of three bunk bedrooms, a large and bright sitting/dining room, a kitchen with a six-ring gas cooker and two ovens, a large fridge freezer and a washing machine with tumble dryer. There is a shower room with WC and an additional WC.

The self contained Studio section consists of one double bedroom with en-suite shower room and a combined sitting room/ fully equipped kitchen area with French doors leading to an outdoor seating area.

Lovely isolated place!

Reviewed on November 9, 2017

When we stayed at the bunkhouse we were the only people there, and we didn't see any staff at all! However, everything had been arranged and paid for upfront, and the bunkhouse was set up beautifully for us -- heated, beds prepared, fire laid and waiting to be lit, everything very clean and comfortable. The interior is much more cosy and comfortable than the appearance of the outside might suggest, and we really enjoyed our stay there. We went for a lovely atmospheric walk around the estate in the mist in the morning -- it has a wonderful feeling of peaceful isolation.
