Snorkelling at Lochaline Dive Centre: Morvern

Lochaline Dive Centre is perfect for - well - diving but it also offers snorkelling in the Sound of Mull for all levels and boat trips to see some of the amazing marine wildlife in the area, including basking sharks.  A 2 hour slot for beginners snorkelling is £30.00 pp including equipment; ensuite double bunkrooms are £30.00 pppn.

Ardenbeg Bunkhouse: Gorge walking in the Cairngorms with Craggan Outdoors

An exhilarating group experience in a stunning little gorge in the Cairngorms to wade, swim, scramble and clamber up small waterfalls, gullies and chutes until reaching the plunge pool at the top of the gorge. Group size is up to 16 people from £43.00 per person, depending upon the size of group.  Affordable accommodation is available at Ardenbeg Bunkhouse. Many other outdoor activities are on offer.

Galloway Activity Centre, Dumfriesshire

On the shores of Loch Ken, Galloway Activity Centre has a 20 berth bunkhouse and a range of other accommodation for larger groups. All activities are on site and provided by a team of qualified instructors. Activities include climbing tower; jacobs ladder; outdoor laser quest; kayaking; raft building; canoeing; sailing; windsurfing; archery and mountain biking. The café and restaurant overlooks the loch and can cater for groups as part of a package. The Centre can accommodate groups of up to 50 guests using all accommodation available on site.  Prices are tailored to what the customer wants and a bespoke package can be provided.

Gulabin Lodge, Glenshee

Gulabin Outdoor Centre is the perfect venue for large and small group activities and accommodation all the year round, with catering provided or self-catering.  Groups will find good value, comfortable accommodation with excellent facilities for a wide range of land and water–based activities either on-site or in the local area. Activities include abseiling, shooting, archery, aerial runway, mountain biking, rock climbing, canyoning, gorge walking & canoeing. We cater for schools, scouts, colleges, companies and clubs as well as family groups. The Lodge can accommodate groups of up to 37 guests within 9 bedrooms with Gulabin House sleeps 12 in five bedrooms.

The Murray Library Hostel, East Neuk of Fife

Our brand new Hostel in Anstruther on the coast of Fife has teamed up with the East Neuk Outdoors Centre to offer accommodation and activity packages for groups and individuals. There is outdoor fun for everyone from 8 to 80, in the stunning surroundings of the East Neuk of Fife, just an hour away from Edinburgh, Dundee and Perth. After a day of canoeing, archery, scrambling or off road biking, the Murray Library Hostel will welcome you for a comfortable night in one of our cosy rooms.

Haggis Hostel, Edinburgh, Highland Games

Transport your group from your accommodation at Haggis Hostel in Edinburgh to the beautiful setting of a Highland estate. Split your group into two ‘Clan’ teams to compete in your own Outdoor Highland Games. "Toss the caber", "throw the welly", "tug o war" and "the farmers dash" are just a few of the light-hearted activities on offer. Excellent highland hospitality is standard - lunch and dinner can be added to the activities for an all-in group package. Our Highland Games is very suited to stag and hen groups but is a fun day out and get-together for any group.

Smart City Hostels by Safestay: city walking

You don't only have to be out in the countryside to enjoy walking! Edinburgh is a great city for taking in the history, culture, green spaces and watering places on foot. Our Hostel is perfect for groups and recommends a 2.2 mile circular historic walk from the Hostel door, taking in the Royal Mile, the Castle, Princes Street Gardens, North Bridge and the Old Town.  Alternatively head down Cowgate to Holyrood Park and Arthur’s Seat for a great view of the City!   The Hostel can also advise on more adventurous walking routes with the option of using the bus for the return journey - the wonderful beach at Portobello is only one hour away on foot.
