Galloway Activity Centre is a unique licenced wedding venue for a bespoke wedding, with a loch side setting and acres of breath taking views, indoor seating, a host of activities, 60+ bed spaces and an onsite kitchen. Favourite choices include the bride sailing across the loch to meet her groom; the wedding couple relaxing in the hot tub after their big day in their very own eco retreat and family fun activities before a gourmet barbecue down by the loch. Loch Voil hostel can accommodate 12 guests. As an outdoor wedding venue it is a very romantic setting offering forest, loch and even standing stones! The Hostel simply provides the accommodation and the grounds, the wedding couple are required to make all other arrangements.
Gulabin Lodge and Outdoor Centre is a family-run Hostel in Glenshee in the Cairngorms National Park. The Lodge sleeps 37 guests and is available for exclusive use as an ideal venue for a wedding. Also on site is a luxurious self catering house sleeping 12 guests.
Iona Hostel offers tranquillity, sanctuary and friendliness. Tucked in amongst the rocky outcrops and flower meadows, Iona Hostel looks out to Staffa and the Treshnish Isles, and beyond Rum to the distant Black Cuillins of Skye. With room for 22 guests, the Hostel is popular for exclusive use bookings, including weddings.
This nautically-inspired Hostel overlooks the magical Sound of Harris. There are scenic views of the islands on the horizon as well as panoramic outlooks to the mountains of South Harris. The building has a unique and colourful decor with fascinating artefacts in every corner. With accommodation for 22 guests and fresh seafood available, Am Bothan is already a popular wedding venue.
If you are looking for a more traditional wedding with all the trimmings, including catering, at great value, Callendar Hostel will provide this for you. The 28-bed Hostel which is full of character can be booked out for exclusive use if required, with the wedding breakfast beautifully set out in the conservatory. The gardens, with a glorious view of Ben Ledi, are perfect for photos. The Hostel is flexible in allowing the wedding party to make arrangements of their own.
