This is a fabulous, custom built, accessible hostel with stunning views of Loch Fyne to Arran and over to the Cowal hills. There are rooms for 2, 4,or 6 guests including 3 ensuite. The spacious lounge / diner has patio doors leading to a wrap-around outside seating area. The well-equipped kitchen has 3 distinct cooking areas including one accessible for wheelchair users. A small beach is easily accessible from the hostel - great for a BBQ or just chilling out after a day's travel/exploring or dog walking.

Cairngorms National Park

Nethy Station, converted to a hostel, is centrally situated within the Cairngorms National Park, between Aviemore and the Speyside Whisky Trail. Perfect for exploring the many activities available on mountain, river, land & sea. You'll always have Exclusive Use and it was set up specifically for groups of 12-26. We have coded locks to allow for entry by any member of the group. Enough showers and toilets for all and extra basins. Dogs are welcome as long as they do not sleep on the beds!

Ardenbeg Bunkhouse is part of the award-winning Craggan Outdoors activity centre. Ardenbeg offers good value accommodation for groups of up to 23 people on a quiet road in Grantown-on-Spey, the historic capital of Strathspey, just 15 minutes from Aviemore, and well situated for all that Britain’s largest national park has to offer. It is just a 5 minute drive from our activity centre.


Ardtornish Estate spreads out around Loch Aline, a huge wooded U-shaped bay, a natural haven. Wherever you go, high in the hills or down at sea level, there are streams and lochs. The accommodation consists of three bunk bedrooms, a large and bright sitting/dining room, a kitchen and shower room with separate WC.TV with “freesat” and Wi-Fi access.

North West Highlands

Acheninver sleeps up to 23 in two 8 bed dorms and two private rooms, has a fully equipped kitchen and dining room with all linen, bedding and towels provided. We are a walk-in hostel overlooking the Summer Isles, in the midst of the North West Highland Geopark. Your ideal base for hill walking, climbing, kayaking, star gazing, photography, wildlife…rest.

The An Cala Cafe and Bunkhouse is located within the community-owned Lochinver Mission building close to the harbour of this idyllic fishing village. Lochinver is situated in Assynt, an area famous for its stunning and iconic scenery, geology and white sand beaches. The Hostel accommodates 15 guests over three rooms sleeping 4-6 people with excellent shared facilities

Modern Bunkhouse with kitchen, private rooms all en-suite with free sat TV. Ideally situated for Ben Wyvis, Fannichs and Ullapool hills. Completely refurbished since 2009. Covered parking and ground anchor for motorbikes.


Ayre's Rock Hostel is on the Orkney Island of Sanday. Recent conservatory extension on our hostel with views to Westray . Our lounge area, with expansive views over the Holms of Ire, offers a comfortable place to relax after a day's exploration of our beautiful island. Rooms are available for both self-catering and B & B, with a well equipped kitchen and evening meals by special arrangement. Sole use is available for the Hostel from £60 per night.

Outer Hebrides

Excellent transport links, convenient for the Leverburgh/Berneray ferry and Stornoway bus route, the nautically-inspired Am Bothan Bunkhouse overlooks the magical Sound of Harris with distant views of the islands and panoramic outlooks to the mountains of South Harris. The building has a unique and colourful decor with unexpected artefacts in every corner. An open fire and central heating in all rooms provides a cosy atmosphere and all bedding is provided (including duvets) as well as WIFI. Great local amenities with shop, cafe and pub/restaurants nearby.
