Volunteer Summer Helpers 2010

We have now made the first invitations to Summer Helper 2010 applicants to join us for a two month period from 1st May to the end of October.

We still have room for more energetic, skilled and happy people to join us as volunteers giving up to 4 hours a day 6 days a week in exchange for accommodation in individual classic and pristine touring caravans.  If this interests you then please look at our website www.lazyduck.co.uk - 'job hunting' page where you will find more details of what we can offer and what we are looking for from you.  Then e mail us with as much detail about yourself as possible and we will take it from there.

Live-in Rural Hostel Manager, Southern Highlands (may suit a couple)

Do you have a passion for informal hospitality? This is a seasonal, hands-on job managing all aspects of a busy rural hostel and group accommodation in the southern Highlands of Scotland. Start March 2010 for 8 months (with the possibility for extension). It’ll suit someone who is warm and hospitable, organised, house-proud and has an eye for detail.

We are also looking for a part-time maintenance person with good DIY skills, so these positions may suit a couple
