The Cowshed Boutique Bunkhouse was created with a sharp eye for design and comfort, and provides a friendly and luxurious retreat in the wilderness of the Isle of Skye. There are stunning views of the Isle and the sea through the large picture windows that surround the main living and dining space.
A large wood burning stove and comfortable furniture make for a warm and cosy environment. Even the bunk beds have been custom made to provide the perfect sleeping spot, complete with individual reading lights, power points and a privacy curtain. Each shower room is completely private and has a power shower, toilet and basin.
Situated on the hillside behind the main bunkhouse you could choose to stay in one of our private pods. Each has a double bed with pull out sofa bed, an en-suite shower room, and a fridge, microwave, kettle, and underfloor heating.

Nearest public transport
The Scottish Citylink bus travels direct from Glasgow to Uig, passing through Fort William on the way. The Citylink can also get you from Inverness to Portree. For other local connection there is the Stagecoach bus, which runs lines 57A and 57C directly past the bottom of our driveway.
If you are taking the bus, let the driver know you are staying with us and they can let you off at the bottom of our dirveway, or very close by outside the Uig hotel.
