Ariundle Bunkhouse
Quiet, peaceful location. Spacious rooms, restaurant & pub 100 metres. Great walking area also outdoor pursuits. Homemade meals available in bunkhouse.
The Ariundle Centre is located at the beginning of the Ariundle Oakwoods, close to glorious walks, bird song, climbing, cycling, canoeing and fishing.
It is a friendly family run business with a licensed restaurant, tea room, craft shop and bunkhouse. The 4 star Bunk House was completed in February 2006 and sleeps 26 people. The rooms are large and airy and there is a drying area and self catering facilities. Linen is supplied and towels can be hired for 50p.
The Bunkhouse is ideal for walkers and climbers. Groups, individuals and families are all welcome and family rooms are available.
Individually cooked breakfasts, morning coffee, light lunches and scrumptious home baking are available in the restaurant and the sandwiches and baking make ideal packed lunches. In the evening candlelit suppers are served using local products, sometimes with a local musician to entertain.
The centre can cater for your party or wedding and your guests can sleep in the bunkhouse. The small village of Strontian has a petrol station and a well stocked shop Camping available if bunkhouse is full.
If travelling from north, east or south the quickest way to arrive at the Centre is to take the A82 to the Corran Ferry and then follow the road to Strontian. (Turn left when you come off the ferry).
