Achintee Farm Hostel

At start of Ben Nevis footpath, quiet country hostel, no large groups, 2km, fom Fort William and end of WHW and GGW.

Achintee Farm hostel offers a peaceful, relaxing stay with plenty of walking right from the door. This small country hostel is attached to the side of the main farm house. The river Nevis is at the bottom of the garden.
Larger groups are not catered for.
There are three twin rooms, one triple room and one en-suite dormitory (sleeps 4/5).
We have wifi access
The hostel has good drying rooms with dehumidifiers.
Laundry is done from £1.50 (wash and dry) for a carrier bag full.

There is a licensed restaurant/pub up the drive (150m).

Walking: take the A82 north out of Fort William, then up Glen Nevis for one mile. We are across the river from the Visitor’s Centre (Ionad Nebhis). Please come up the garden to front door of house.

Bus: #41 from between train station and Morrisons. Request off at Glen Nevis Visitor Centre. Walk across car park to foot bridge, cross river, turn right along bank 50yd., through garden gate.

Driving: from the south: A82 north out of Fort William to Glen Nevis roundabout, turn left do not take Glen Nevis exit, right turn in front of traffic lights onto Claggan Road, right in front of Spar shop onto Achintee Road, drive to end of public road 2 kms., right through opening past the Ben Nevis Inn and down the drive to farm house.
