Rua Reidh Lighthouse

Rua Reidh Lighthouse is perched on the cliffs looking out over the Minch to the outer Hebrides and is 12 miles north of Gairloch at the end the road. The accommodation is in the Lighthouse keeper’s house situated next to the still operational light tower. The house is warm and cosy with log burning fires, a drying room, both private rooms and dormitory accommodation and there is a self catering kitchen or dinner (£13.50) and breakfast (£5.50) can be ordered.

The hostel has an STB four star hostel grading, as well as the Green Tourism Scheme silver award, and the Investors in People award. Rates vary according to accommodation type, starting at £10 per dorm per night, to inclusive room rates for doubles/family accommodation.
